A paraplegic marine dispatched to the moon Pandora on a unique mission becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home. The budget is $257,000,000 – making it appear that you're shooting on another planet is costly! The viewers did enjoy the movie, though, and the picture amassed profit of $2.788 billion.

Again, a little disappointing in terms of returns but hey – at least the producers didn't lose any money…
